Mrs. Scott's Retirement Home was founded and is operated by Eric and Shawna
Shambourger, both long standing medical professions in our community.
Shawna Shambourger MA, CCC, SLP is a respected Speech and Language
Pathologist with extensive experience working with older adults. Eric
Shambourger RN, MSN, is a Registered Nurse who has an array of experience
working with adults in the areas of Geriatric Care, Public Health, and
Psychiatry, as well as teaching at CSUF. Residents are taken out to
their choice of restaurants monthly. Residents can request a special
dessert to be baked each week. Beautician and manicurist visits weekly as well as podiatry care. Clergy visits are also
provided. 24 hr surveillance camera is provided for resident safety.
Mrs. Scott's Retirement Home is a family oriented program which offers
dignity, respect high self-esteem and a sense of belonging to our serving
residents. Our mission is to provide quality of life by serving the
individual needs of each of our clients to the best of our abilities.
We do so by supplying professional and high quality care in a warm, safe,
and secure environment. Located in Gary McDonald's Charlton station, a
very upscale area of Clovis, the home is RN owned and operated,
with over 10 years of caring experience with the elderly.
Mrs. Scott's Retirement
Home provides all standard 24 hour care services,
including medication management, night time assistance and bed ridden care.
Private and semi-private rooms are available in a clean and comfortable
atmosphere. This home also takes wheel chair and non-ambulatory
clients. Dementia clients and Alzheimer’s care provided, as well as diabetic
diets, hospice and
incontinent care. We have barbeques, and we are close to shopping and
parks. Daily range of motion exercises provided. Individual activities
provided. Birthday celebrations and family visits are encouraged.
